CASA Function: NormalPolynomial
Calculate the "Normal Form" of a polynomial
Calling Sequence:
- P := NormalPolynomial(p,F)
Parameters:
- p : expression
- An expression over the finite field F in Root-of Form.
- F : casa/finite/field
- The finite field of the coefficients of p.
Result:
- P : polynomial
- p expanded and collected in alpha-Form.
Description:
- Calculates alpha-Form of Root-of Form of a Polynomial.
Examples:
> F8:= finiteField(8);
> P := InPolynomial(alpha^2*x+alpha,F8);
> r := PolynomialRoots(P,F8);
> p := NormalPolynomial(P,F8);
