CASA is independent of the operating system. It is fully written in the Maple language.
CASA 2.5 requires Maple V release 5. A version for Maple 6 is in preparation.
The CASA system is freely distributed under the conditions stated in the LICENSE file. In particular we require that each CASA user has registered with us and has received a CASA USER KEY from us via email BEFORE CASA can be used.
The system can be obtained by anonymous ftp through our download page at http://www.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/software/casa/download.
