Abstract | Chapter 1 starts with a glance at universal algebra. In chapter 2 we gether results about rings. Chapter 3 and 4 are about analyzing the structure of a ring and end with the famous density theorem due to Jacobsen. Chapters 5 and 6 shall make computation easier in many cases. In chapter 7 we give an overview about results for polynomial rings featuring Buchberger's Algorithm for Groebner Bases. Chapter 8 is a library of GAP-functions. |
