The Problem Addressed by SEE++: Strabismus (Squinting)
- Strabismus is a visual defect in which the two eyes of a person
point in different directions.
- The two images seen by the eyes deviate so much that the brain cannot
merge them to a single 3D picture any more.
- Strabismus is especially dangerous in the child age since it may lead to
permanent weak-sightedness.
- To cure strabismus, it may be necessary to modify the eye muscles
by surgery.
