The SCIEnce Project

The series of training school in symbolic computation is an activity within the project Symbolic Computation Infrastructures for Europe (SCIEnce), supported by the European Commission Framework 6 Programme for Integrated Infrastructures Initiatives. The goal of the SCIEnce project is to improve integration between key world-leading developers and application experts in Symbolic Computation software systems. Such systems form a vital infrastructural tool in areas of modern academic and commercial research, with important applications in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering and other technical disciplines. The project undertakes a program of networking, software development and research, complemented by the transnational access to RISC.
