Abstract

The goal of this project is the development of an automatic generator of meeting protocols. This generator is a component of an environment for computer-supported distributed meetings consisting of a loose collection of tools that support various aspects of such a meeting (video-conferencing, shared file editors, shared whiteboards, and others). These tools connect to the generator at startup of the meeting and deliver at arbitrary times a snapshot of their current state; the protocol generator collects these data, time-stamps them, and generates from these an electronic document that represents the meeting protocol.
