DIscrete Resonances in NOnlinear Wavesystems
This project runs from October 2007 to September 2010. It is sponsored by the Austrian Science Fond FWF under the contract P20164-N18. Project leader: Lena Kartashova. Main goals of the project are:
- general classification of
discrete patterns appearing due to exact resonances
- symbolic computation of all different patterns and
corresponding dynamical systems
- description of resonance cascade types and
constructive estimation of effective resonance width
- development of a Mathematica program tool
for studying nonlinear resonances
