Photo Gallery of Anett Réti and Dr. Károly Bósa
We are an ambitious amateur nature photographer young married couple. Both of us have already
fallen in love with the nature in our childhoods (in Hungary). Anett hiked a lot in the Mecsek mountains and went to fish with
her grandfather to the Herman Ottó lake, which was already a nature reserve area in that
time. Karoly also made excursions very often and regularly went cross-country skiing in the forests of the Bükk mountains.
Our colleage and friend Károly Erdei endeared the
photography with us and he still helps us with his useful advices and guidances.
We started this hobby several years ago, when we bought our first digital
camera, a Minolta Dimage Z1 with 10x zoom. Then in 2006, we purchased a singe lens reflex
Canon 350D digital camera and little bit later a CANON EF 70-300mm IS lens as well.
Our current equipment is:
- 2 Canon EOS 350D Cameras
- Canon EF 1:4 300mm IS L
- Canon EF 1:4-5.6 70-300mm IS
- Soligor 1.7x and 1.4x TCs
- Canon EF-S 1:3.5-5.6 18-55mm
- EF Extension Tubes, Flash, Remote Shutter Switch, etc.
Furthermore, we have already tried out and got some
experience with the
following objectives (thanks for the already mentioned Károly Erdei,
who allowed us to play with these expensive toys):
- Canon EF 1:4 70-200mm L (We had used this lens approx. for 3 months,
before we managed to buy our 70-300 lens).
- Sigma 28-105mm
- Sigma 1:2.8 105mm Macro
At present we live in Upper Austria, 20km from Linz and we took most of our photos in this area.
We often make trips to the small lakes and swamps next to Linz, along the river Traun and
in the region of Salzkammergut (e.g.: Gmunden, Seewalchen).
We shot all our photos you can see on this homepage only about free-living birds and
animals in the nature (except some pictures in the section "Journey Photos").
