*Definition:*
The *floor* of a real number `x` is the largest integer less than or
equal `x`.

floor(x) := max {yinZ:y<=x}.

Analogously, the *ceiling* of `x` is the
smallest integer greater than or equal `x`:

ceiling(x) := min {yinZ:y>=x}.
