RISC Summer 2011: Conference Registration and Room Reservation

Registration is open.

To register for one or more events of the RISC Summer 2011 and (optionally) reserve a hotel room, please perform the following steps.

  1. System: Please go the
    conference registration system
    (click on the link above to open a new browser window/tab).
  2. Conference Registration: To register for one or more events, please check the corresponding "Cart" box(es) at the right side of the page; then press the "Next" button.
    Depending on your current selection, some options may not be selectable (they are displayed as "?"). If you just want to reserve a hotel room, select "Miscellaneous/No registration: reservation of accommodation only".
  3. Accommodation: You may now choose to reserve a hotel room in the conference hotel in Linz or Hagenberg (depending on the conference) for about 40 EUR/night incl. breakfast (please give your check-in and check-out dates). Then press the "Next" button.
    You may also decide to reserve a hotel room in Linz on your own and (if your conference is in Hagenberg) commute to Hagenberg.
  4. Billing Address: Enter your personal data. These data are kept confidential and will not be forwarded to third parties.
    Please be sure to enter a valid email address!
  5. Payment Mode: please select one of the modes "online payment" or "invoice payment" in order to pay for your conference registration. (You pay for your hotel room directly at the hotel. Hotel costs are not included in the registration fee.) Then press the "Next" button.
    Please select the option "invoice payment" only if you cannot pay by credit card or (Austrian participants only) EPS bank transfer. You will then be billed by invoice which adds an extra handling charge of 20 € to your conference fee. For a total sum of 0 € (e.g. reservation of accommodation only), select "online payment" (you need not provide payment information in this case).
  6. Online Payment: If you have selected "online payment", you may now again review your booking cart. Then press the button "Proceed to online payment" which directs you to the payment portal (running on the secure server of a commercial payment provider). You have the following payment options:
    • International Participants: only credit cards are accepted.
    • Austrian Participants: credit cards and also EPS bank transfer is accepted.
  7. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that we have received your registration (please check your spam folder in case your spam filter classifies this email as spam).
    If the email does not arrive within an hour or so, please contact the RISC secretary.
    In approximately two weeks, you will also receive via email a confirmation of your payment.
