Venue

The conference is located in the Castle of Hagenberg, a medieval castle amidst the lovely landscape of the Mühlviertel and site of the RISC institute.

The village of Hagenberg im Mühlkreis hosts various institutes of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the Softwarepark Hagenberg (a high-tech industrial park focused on software development), the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences (offering various degree programs related to information technology and new media), and the Software Competence Center Hagenberg (a joint industrial and academic research center).

Hagenberg is located 20 km north east of Linz, the provincial capital of Upper Austria, and site of the Johannes Kepler University. Linz is a 200.000 inhabitants town on both sides of the river Danube which offers the visitor a mixture of typical Austrian historic sites, well-known industry, and established cultural aspects.
