Registration

To register for "33 Years of Gröbner Bases" please fill out the registration
form and the hotel reservation form
and send them by e-mail, air mail or fax to the address mentioned there.

Accomodation

We offer two types of accommodation:

City
Hotel (4-star) in the center of Linz (hotel no. 2 on the
Linz map
)

Sommerhaus
Hotel (Raabheim), a nice student dormitory (swimming pool, restaurant,
etc) near the campus of the University of Linz (hotel no. 21
on the Linz
map).

There will be a shuttle service taking participants from the hotels to
the conference location.

Travel to Linz
-
By plane:
The airport of Linz is not far from the center of the city. There are shuttle
buses into the city. A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel costs roughly
ATS 300.-.
By train:
Linz can also be conveniently reached by train from Vienna,
Salzburg or Munich. A train ticket (back and forth) Vienna-Linz is about ATS 540 and Salzburg-Linz ATS 400.
A taxi from the train station to the City hotel costs about ATS 50 and to the
Sommerhaus hotel ATS 100. The dormitory can also be easily reached from the Linz train
station by tram: take no. 3 for one stop and then change to
no. 1 in the direction of the University. Go down at the
end of the line (University) and at about 500 m to the left
is the dormitory (ask the people).

Travel to Hagenberg
- Shuttle service will be provided from the hotels to Risc.

If traveling by car, take the highway (Autobahn) to Linz, and there take the
Autobahn to Prag (A7). About 15km outside of Linz the Autobahn ends. Go
in the direction of Pregarten. About 1km before Pregarten you see the sign
to Hagenberg (to the left).
